Certified Dental Assistant – Enamel Dental Centre (Penticton, BC)

Full-Time Permanent Position – 3 Days per Week

Job Overview

Enamel Dental Centre is seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Dental Assistant to join our dynamic, patient-focused practice. The ideal candidate is proactive, compassionate, and committed to delivering exceptional care while supporting our dental team in providing high-quality clinical services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared and organized.
  • Capture digital dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories and treatment notes.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and preventive dental practices.
  • Sterilize instruments and maintain treatment room cleanliness in accordance with infection control protocols.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure an efficient, smooth workflow throughout the practice.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) with demonstrated proficiency in clinical assisting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support positive patient experiences and effective teamwork.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • A compassionate, patient-centred approach to care.
