Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a solid understanding of food and beverage operations, and experience in fast-paced restaurant environments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with diverse guests while showcasing your skills in food handling, serving, and hospitality. Prior experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred, along with a strong foundation in food safety and food service standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, managing orders efficiently, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with company standards
  • Take orders accurately using POS systems like Micros POS and process payments with cash handling skills
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling regulations
  • Engage with customers to provide excellent customer service, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally
  • Restock bar supplies as needed and assist in inventory management
  • Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest consumption and adhering to legal requirements
  • Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service flow during busy periods
  • Uphold all food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations

Skills

  • Proven experience in food industry roles, particularly in serving or bartending positions
  • Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, change calculation, and order processing
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Hospitality-oriented mindset with a friendly demeanor and strong communication skills
