Specific Responsibilities and Daily Tasks
Lead end-to-end delivery of software projects (initiation, planning, execution, release).
Define scope, deliverables, milestones, and success criteria with engineering & product teams.
Track project progress, manage risks, and ensure on-time and quality delivery.
Facilitate SecOps meetings to address incidents, risks, compliance tasks, and remediation tracking.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Development, QA, Data, Product management.)
Partner with security, IT, and engineering teams to integrate security initiatives into project roadmaps.
Translate technical concepts (cloud, APIs, CI/CD, architecture) into actionable project plans.
Provide regular project updates and reports for technical teams and executive stakeholders.
Anticipate delivery bottlenecks and proactively escalate issues.
Drive continuous improvement in processes, tools, and collaboration across teams.
Knowledge & Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
4+ years of project/program management experience in software development, infrastructure, or security.
Familiarity with software development lifecycles (SDLC), Agile/Scrum, and DevOps practices.
Working knowledge of security operations, compliance, and risk frameworks is preferred.
Certifications such as PMP, CSM, or SAFe are a plus but not mandatory.
Skills
Strong ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent organizational and project planning skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication and presentation skills, able to convey technical status to executives.
Strong understanding of agile project management principles and practices and experience managing projects in an agile environment.
Proven risk management and issue resolution capabilities.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with project management tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or similar).
Collaborative and team-oriented leadership style, fostering trust across engineering and security teams.
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment, while meeting internal schedules and deadlines.
