We're looking for a Client Support Specialist to join our team and help deliver an exceptional experience to our clients and referral partners.
About the Role
ModernAdvisor is seeking an experienced, service-oriented Client Support Specialist to support our investment clients and partner financial advisors.
In this role, you'll be a key point of contact—helping clients navigate their accounts, resolving inquiries efficiently, and ensuring every interaction feels seamless. Success requires exceptional communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to understand and fulfill client needs with clarity and empathy.
You'll bring a solutions-focused mindset, a passion for delivering outstanding service, and ideally experience in personal finance or investment-related support. As part of our client support team, you'll play a critical role in creating a positive, effortless client experience from start to finish.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Deliver exceptional service to ModernAdvisor clients and partner financial advisors through live chat, phone, and email.
- Support client and advisor requests for updates to account documents and profile information.
- Positively contribute to the overall client experience with a friendly, solutions-oriented approach.
- Respond to client and advisor inquiries, referring investment-related questions to one of our portfolio managers when appropriate.
- Support ongoing monitoring of the live chat, email inbox, and client support phone line to ensure timely responses.
- Liaise with our custodians to help resolve client questions and operational issues.
- Track outstanding queries and issues to ensure they are followed through to complete resolution.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Background in personal finance and/or the investment industry.
- Experience as a Client Support Specialist or in a similar client-facing role.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed service-level commitments.
- Trustworthy, reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient with technology platforms such as Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, with the ability and willingness to learn new software tools.
- A strong "client-first" mindset and commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Post-secondary degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and sound judgment.
- Effective team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
