Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail team and oversee the daily operations of our store. The ideal candidate has a strong background in retail management, a passion for customer service, and the leadership skills to drive both sales and staff engagement.

Duties

  • Supervise, train, and motivate staff to provide exceptional customer service and adhere to company standards.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including cashiering, inventory control, scheduling, and administrative duties.
  • Conduct interviews, hire new employees, and facilitate ongoing staff development and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement in-store marketing strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.
  • Utilize POS systems effectively for sales transactions, reporting, and inventory tracking.
  • Communicate effectively with both team members and upper management regarding store goals, performance, and operational challenges.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in retail management or a supervisory position.
  • Strong knowledge of cashiering and POS systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage scheduling, and administrative tasks with accuracy.
  • Experience in staff training and development is preferred.
  • Knowledge of marketing and promotional strategies to drive sales is an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional phone etiquette and customer service focus.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
