Delta, British Columbia, Canada Pure Sunfarms Full time $100,000 - $130,000 per year

Pure Sunfarms is one of Canada's largest licensed producers of high-quality, greenhouse-grown cannabis based in BC's Fraser Valley (Delta). We are proud to bring together individuals from a wide breadth of industries, backgrounds, and experiences, with a diverse team committed to excellence. Our diversity drives our uncompromising approach to quality and success within the Canadian recreational cannabis market.

We are looking for an HR Manager who thrives at the intersection of people, strategy, and action. Someone who doesn't just see problems but builds solutions, who anticipates needs before they surface, and who can translate our global HR vision into meaningful, practical outcomes for our teams. In this role, you will be the bridge between the business and our global HR standards—ensuring policies, processes, and programs are not only compliant and consistent, but also human, relevant, and value-adding. You will partner closely with leaders at all levels to elevate performance, strengthen culture, and drive a best-in-class employee experience. If you love variety, complexity, and the chance to make a measurable impact every day—this is your role.

Essential Functions
Strategic HR Partnership

  • Translate global HR strategies into practical, scalable solutions for our regions.
  • Partner across HRBPs, HR Operations, HR Technology, and COEs to elevate the entire people ecosystem.
  • Influence leaders with strong business acumen, trusted advice, and proactive problem-solving.

Talent, Performance & Development

  • Partner with talent acquisition to shape strong job profiles, compensation ranges, and candidate experiences.
  • Support and coach leaders through performance reviews, promotions, talent assessments, and development plans.
  • Identify and accelerate high-potential talent, fostering leadership readiness and continuous growth.
  • Support organizational development and key business transformations with clarity and change-enablement.

Employee Relations & People Support

  • Act as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees through complex people matters.
  • Lead fair, timely, and compliant investigations and resolutions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regional employment legislation and apply it with sound judgment.
  • Promote a values-driven employee experience that reinforces trust, transparency, and accountability.

HR Operations Excellence

  • Lead regional HR processes—onboarding, offboarding, leaves, accommodations, documentation.
  • Ensure data integrity across HRIS, policies, contracts, and employee records.
  • Partner with Payroll and Total Rewards to ensure smooth, accurate execution of all lifecycle transactions.
  • Maintain audit-ready records reflecting compliance, quality, and professionalism.

Culture, Engagement & Leadership

  • Champion our values in every interaction, decision, and initiative.
  • Support engagement programs, recognition initiatives, and culture-building activities.
  • Bring global culture priorities to life through local actions that strengthen connection and belonging.

Compensation & Total Rewards

  • Guide leaders on compensation philosophies, pay structures, benefits, and incentive programs.
  • Contribute to salary reviews, promotions, market analysis, and reward programs.
  • Support a competitive, equitable total rewards approach rooted in data and fairness.

Other Duties
At Pure Sunfarms, we're committed to ensuring we're bringing the best we have to offer to our consumers. This means other duties may arise since we work together to ensure we support all business activities – seed to sale.

WORK STATUS
This is an on-site role, working in or supporting operations and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams across the business.

What You Bring

  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience in dynamic, multi-site or multi-region environments.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and confident experience managing complex employee relations.
  • Proven ability to influence leaders and guide real-world decision-making.
  • Skilled communicator who can build trust, navigate ambiguity, and solve problems with maturity and tact.
  • Experience working within a global or matrix HR model is an asset.
  • Expertise in HRIS platforms (ADP Workforce Now, Workday, Dayforce, SuccessFactors, etc.) and comfort with data-informed decisions.
  • Agile mindset—comfortable testing ideas, iterating, and building better ways of working.
  • A natural connector who brings clarity, calm, and action to every situation.

Who Thrives Here
Someone who is:

  • Solutions-focused – you don't wait for direction; you diagnose, propose, and execute.
  • Action-oriented – you bring momentum, drive, and urgency to people priorities.
  • A relationship-builder – employees trust you, leaders respect you, and HR teams rely on you.
  • A systems thinker – you see both the big picture and the operational details.
  • A culture carrier – you reinforce values through every interaction and decision.

Why Join Us?
You will play a critical role in shaping how our people feel, grow, and perform. You will influence leaders, improve processes, and elevate the entire employee lifecycle. Most importantly, you will join a company that values honesty, simplicity, ownership, and alignment—where HR is a strategic partner, not an afterthought.

If you're ready to build, elevate, influence, and make a measurable difference—we want to meet you.

At Pure Sunfarms, we grow our team with the same care and commitment that we devote to our quality. We strive to be the best in everything that we do and are excited to learn more about your experiences and how you can contribute to Pure Sunfarms.
