Job Summary:
As a Design & Project Coordinator at Solos Energy, you will play a critical role in supporting the planning and design of solar energy projects. This position combines technical design responsibilities with project management support, ensuring that all projects are accurately designed, documented, and smoothly coordinated from inception to completion. You will work closely with the sales department, project management team, and engineers to create system designs, prepare permits and documentation, and help deliver high-quality, efficient, and timely solar installations.
Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to):
- Design residential & commercial solar systems using computer software's.
Provide the sales team with proposal documentation and pricing for projects.
Coordinate with internal teams regarding project status.
Prepare and submit electrical and building permits to the appropriate authorities.
Prepare and submit Net Metering / Micro-Generation applications to various utilities.
Maintain organized project documentation, including permits, drawings, and pick lists.
Qualifications:
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using CRM platforms, solar design platforms, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and other relevant software applications.
Class 5 driver's license with access to a vehicle or reliable transportation.
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate needs and proactively address issues.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization and external customers.
Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Assets (preferred but not required):
Previous experience designing residential and/or commercial solar systems.
Residential & commercial electrical code knowledge.
