Position Overview

The Project Manager / Estimator plays a key role in ensuring our projects are accurately estimated, well-organized, and successfully completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate has strong industry experience, excellent communication skills, and a passion for managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial, residential, and industrial painting projects.
  • Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to determine scope, materials, labor, and timelines.
  • Manage projects from award to completion, including scheduling, crew coordination, and client communication.
  • Conduct site visits to assess conditions, measure areas, and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Track project progress, budgets, and change orders.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the painting, coatings, or construction industry (estimating/project management experience required).
  • Strong knowledge of surface preparation, paint systems, materials, and application methods.
  • Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite (experience with Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar tools is an asset).
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
