Our Advanced Technology Group (ATG) is part of the EA SPORTS Technology organization, focusing on identifying and creating new, scalable technologies for game teams. We value close collaboration with diverse teams to deliver the latest technology for EA SPORTS titles; though the technologies developed can apply to many different engines, environments, and hardware platforms. You will work on our strategic, multi-year projects focused on improved creation pipelines and runtime

functionality,

both users facing and internal, for all EA SPORTS titles. You will report to a Development Director.

This is a temporary 12-month contract, with hybrid work arrangement, 3 days a week at our Burnaby office.

As a Senior QA Tester, you will:

  • Complete test cases and ensure quality standards are met.

  • Communicate daily schedule to the ATG team.

  • Escalate

issues/blocker

s to the appropriate partners.

  • Assist QDs with data and task completion information gathering.

  • Create specific test cases to cover entirely their area of influence.

  • Help with basic

setup/equipmen

t issues.

  • Help prioritize issues in the bug database to expedite bug-fixing effort.

Requirements

  • Understanding of defect and task tracking software (JIRA, Testrail, QMetry)

  • 1+ year experience working on AAA+ Live Service titles.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).

PAY RANGES

* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$50,400 - $66,600 CAD

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, and extended health/dental/vision coverage and basic life insurance.
