Port Moody, British Columbia, Canada BCRS Road Safe Inc. Full time $45,000 - $60,000 per year

You will be required to have a TCP ticket/certification, maintain and cellular phone and have a reliable vehicle. YOU MUST HAVE A BCCSA TCP CERTIFICATE TO APPLY. YOU WILL NOT BE CONTACTED UNLESS YOU ARE CERTIFIED IN BRITISH COLUMBIA.

BC road safe provides take home trucks and gas cards once LCT position approved.

Our trucks are fully stocked with signs and equipment, to lessen the need to have to come into the office to pick up added equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct traffic and ensure the safe and efficient flow of vehicles
  • Set up and remove traffic control devices such as cones, barricades, and signs
  • Communicate with drivers and pedestrians to provide directions or instructions
  • Monitor traffic conditions and adjust traffic control measures as needed
  • Report any incidents or hazards to supervisors or appropriate authorities
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills:

- Ability to build and dismantle traffic control devices

- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as trucks or forklifts

- Knowledge of paving operations and materials

- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with drivers and pedestrians

- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate placement of traffic control devices

Qualifications:

  • BCCSA TCP Certification
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Must have drivers licence and transportation
