Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated AZ driver for Highway cross border operations. This role involves operating tractor-trailers for freight delivery while ensuring safety and compliance with all transportation regulations. As an AZ Highway Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to timely and efficient service.
Responsibilities
- Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and deliveries.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid AZ driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on commercial driving standards.
- Eligible and authorized to cross the border (required)
- Strong understanding of freight handling procedures including loading and unloading techniques.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail are required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.24 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
Work Location: In person
