Overview:

Join our team Since 2012, we've been crafting artisanal delights with locally sourced ingredients and traditional European recipes in the heart of Downtown Chilliwack Now, we're looking for a passionate individual to join our team as a Pastry Chef

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair to enhance presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and fulfilling special requests.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service.

Qualifications

  • Able to work early morning hours
  • Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced setting
  • Knowledge of food safety and handling practices
  • Expertise in baking techniques, including cake decorating
  • Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a restaurant setting
  • Familiarity with packaging standards for baked goods

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $17.90-$20.90 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 32 per week
