Western Heights Montessori Academy is a Montessori childcare centre offering programs for children from six months to 6 years of age. With eight campuses across Oakville and Mississauga, we are proud to have been recognized by the Oakville Beaver as one of the Best Montessori Schools in the area.

We are seeking a Part-Time Mandarin Teacher to join our team. The teacher will deliver engaging Mandarin lessons to our toddler and preschool-aged children during the regular school year (September to June).

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Experience teaching or managing a learning environment in Mandarin for young children (15 months to 5 years).
  • Fluency in both spoken and written Mandarin and English.
  • Enthusiastic and able to motivate young children to learn basic Mandarin language skills.
  • Available one day per week, for a minimum of four hours between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
  • Additional supply teaching opportunities may be available for interested candidates.
  • Must provide the following prior to employment:
  • Vulnerable Sector Police Check (within the past six months)
  • Standard First Aid & CPR-C certification
  • Up-to-date immunization records
  • A positive team player who is organized, dependable, and able to collaborate with staff and parents.

Part-time, Contract- 4-6 hrs per week
