Robadair Ltd. is a precision metal manufacturer that services the Commercial, Defense, and Aerospace industries. We are looking to add a dynamic individual to our team in the Paint Shop on our Day and Night shift.

The Industrial Painter will be responsible for preparing parts prior to painting and painting parts. The Industrial Painter may also perform masking and packing/shipping duties as necessary.

These tasks may include:

· Interpreting prints

· Applying/removing tape

· Inserting/removing plugs

· Hanging parts

· Mixing paint to specification

· Painting parts

· Unmasking parts

· Transferring parts between areas

· Packaging parts

· Shipping parts

· Other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will have these characteristics:

· Ability to or willingness to learn to read prints

· Attention to detail

· Manual dexterity

· Ability to perform repetitive tasks

· Team player

Education:

· High School Diploma; or

· Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training; or

· Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training; or

· A combination of education and on the job experience

Credentials:

· Certificates, licenses, and memberships are considered an asset.

· Military specification experience is an asset.

· AS9100 quality standards knowledge is an asset.

· Nadcap knowledge is an asset.

Day Shift Schedule:

80 hours over a two-week period

Monday to Friday 6:00am to 3:00pm (40 hours per week)

Night Shift Schedule:

80 hours over a two-week pay period:

Week 1: Tuesday to Thursday 2:30pm to 3:00am Hours)

Week 2: Monday to Wednesday 2:30pm to 3:00am, Thursday 2:30pm to 2:30am (45.5 Hours)

We offer a Night Shift Premium.
