Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic and Store Front Employee to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service while enjoying high-quality baked goods and pastries. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food production and preparation.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and other baked goods to meet customer demand.
  • Decorate cakes and pastries with creativity and attention to detail.
  • Package finished products for display and sale, ensuring they are presented attractively.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and store front areas, adhering to food safety standards.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers with their selections and answering any questions they may have.
  • Handle food safely, following all relevant health regulations and guidelines.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and restocking supplies as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Skills

  • Proven experience in cake decorating, baking, or pastry preparation is highly desirable.
  • Strong background in food production, food handling, and culinary practices.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools, along with strong knife skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices within the food industry.
  • Previous experience in catering or restaurant environments is a plus.
