Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the automotive industry. The Apprentice will work closely with experienced mechanics and technicians, learning essential skills in automotive repair and maintenance while contributing to our dealership's success.

Duties

  • Assist in the diagnosis and repair of vehicles under the guidance of skilled technicians.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various repair tasks.
  • Support assembly and disassembly of vehicle components as needed.
  • Interpret schematics and technical manuals to assist in repairs and maintenance.
  • Engage with customers to provide excellent service, addressing their questions and concerns.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance mechanical knowledge and skills related to automotive repair.
  • Help maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.

Experience

  • Previous dealership experience is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge is essential; hands-on experience with automotive repair is highly valued.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and understanding of automotive schematics will be beneficial.
