Pay: From CA$30.00 per hour

Job description:

We are seeking a journeyman ticket or well experienced Machinist. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of CNC and manual machining as well as the ability to inspect parts they are responsible for. This role will require attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Help with set ups
  • Operate various CNC machines
  • Inspects finished parts with various measuring tools and completes inspection report(s)
  • Ability to run more than one machine when requested
  • General housekeeping and work area cleanliness
  • Assume duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Work experience with CNC and manual machines
  • Ability to set up quickly and efficiently
  • Able to lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs.

Competencies

  • Have a high level of accuracy, detail, and organization
  • Be a team player that works well with others

Other Key Considerations:

  • Willingness to work overtime
  • Must be open to continuous learning and improvement
  • Able to lift 50 lbs
  • Standing for long periods
  • Experience with Fagor control
