About the Opportunity
Financial Oversight & Reporting
- Lead the preparation and consolidation of financial statements in accordance with ASPE, ensuring timely and accurate reporting for global operations.
- Develop and manage internal controls, financial policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure audit readiness.
- Direct month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Oversee cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and treasury functions.
Cost Accounting & Inventory Control
- Manage cost accounting functions including standard costing, variance analysis, and cost allocations across multiple manufacturing sites.
- Oversee inventory accounting processes including cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and valuation; ensure accuracy in inventory reporting across domestic and international locations.
- Support inventory planning strategies that improve turnover and reduce obsolescence.
ERP Systems & Process Improvement
- Serve as the finance lead for ERP optimization and enhancements (e.g., Nesuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics), with a focus on manufacturing and finance modules.
- Champion the automation of finance processes, including AP/AR workflows, journal entries, and reporting tools.
- Collaborate with IT and operations to ensure ERP systems reflect accurate financial data and support real-time decision-making.
BOM Integrity & Operational Costing
- Partner with Engineering and Supply Chain teams to ensure Bills of Materials (BOMs) are accurate and up-to-date.
- Oversee costing models and provide financial analysis to support pricing strategies, cost reductions, and profitability improvement.
Analytics & Business Intelligence
- Leverage Power BI or other analytics tools to deliver financial dashboards and performance metrics.
- Provide insights into cost structures, margin performance, and operational trends to support strategic initiatives.
Transfer Pricing & Compliance
- Manage transfer pricing policies and documentation in line with international tax regulations.
- Ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions and support external audits and tax filings.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and mentor a team that includes Controllers and two bookkeepers, HR and Real estate staff
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Provide financial leadership for HR and real estate operations, aligning resources with long-term business strategy.
About You
- CPA designation (or equivalent) required.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of cost accounting, inventory control, and financial reporting.
- Proven experience with ERP systems and process improvement; ERP implementation experience a plus.
- Proficiency in Power BI or similar BI/reporting platforms.
- Experience managing multi-site operations and international financial structures, including transfer pricing.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams
Salary Range
$160,000 - $200,000/year
