We are hiring a Medical Clinic Manager to lead our clinic operations and support our team in delivering high-quality patient care.

This role is ideal for someone with proven experience in medical office management, strong organizational and leadership skills, and familiarity with the healthcare system in British Columbia. If you are confident with budgeting, staff supervision, and EMR systems like Oscar, we'd love to hear from you

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the clinic to ensure efficiency and patient satisfaction.
  • Supervise administrative and clinical staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Manage clinic finances, including budgeting, billing, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with BC healthcare regulations, including MSP, WCB, ICBC, and PIPA.
  • Maintain and optimize the Oscar EMR system; ensure accurate and timely medical documentation.
  • Coordinate HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, and staff support.
  • Collaborate with physicians and staff to improve workflow, patient care, and clinic performance.
  • Monitor key performance metrics and implement improvements where needed.
  • Keep current with industry regulations, billing processes, and EMR best practices.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience managing a medical clinic or healthcare setting (BC experience preferred).
  • Proficiency with Oscar EMR (or other EMRs such as MedAccess, Telus, Accuro, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of MSP billing, ICBC/WCB claims, and general healthcare administration.
  • Background in healthcare administration, medical office assisting, nursing, or a related field.
  • Experience supervising staff and managing clinic schedules.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with privacy laws and regulatory standards (e.g., PIPA, HIPAA, JCAHO).
  • Ability to multitask in a patient-focused environment.
