Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Appliance Technician to join our team in Richmond and Vancouver area. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in appliance repair, electrical systems, and mechanical knowledge. This role requires excellent customer service skills as you will be interacting with clients to diagnose and resolve appliance issues efficiently. Your ability to read and interpret schematics will be essential in troubleshooting various appliances.

Duties

  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of household appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, dishwashers etc..
  • Assemble and disassemble appliances as needed for repairs or installations.
  • Utilize schematics to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues effectively.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about the repair process and any necessary follow-up actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
  • Stay updated on the latest appliance technologies and repair techniques to ensure high-quality service.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in appliance repair.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot electrical systems effectively.
  • Familiarity with commercial appliances is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor when interacting with clients.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and manuals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license and car.
