Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in commercial or facility spaces
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and custodial equipment safely and effectively to complete cleaning duties
- Conduct facilities maintenance as needed, addressing minor repairs or reporting issues to management
- Use cleaning chemicals and supplies appropriately, adhering to safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, offices, and common areas according to established standards
- Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within scheduled shifts
- Assist with heavy lifting of supplies or equipment when necessary
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to client requests or concerns
- Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times
Requirements
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience preferred; familiarity with facilities maintenance is a plus
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during shifts
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
- Reliable work ethic with a focus on safety and professionalism
