If you have mechanical aptitude, enjoy problem-solving, are handy with tools, and can stay cool under pressure, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.Please note: This position requires flexibility to work outside of regular business hours, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.Join us and be part of the transformation—literally.WHAT YOU WILL DO:Learn and support the setup and teardown of event infrastructure (e.g. staging, turf, seating configurations, equipment).Work closely with a best-in-class facility operations team to safely and efficiently convert the stadium between events. Follow conversion schedules, safety procedures, and schedules to complete tasks on time.Operate tools, lifts, and proprietary systems used in the stadium for efficient changeovers.Assist with general maintenance and storage of equipment;Maintain equipment and tools, and follow all safety protocols and procedures. Embrace training and mentoring opportunities to build your technical knowledge and stadium-specific skillset. Work collaboratively with teammates and supervisors to troubleshoot issues.Perform other related duties as required.WHO YOU ARE:Mechanically inclined and comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.Physically fit – able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform manual labour in a fast-paced environment. Strong work ethic with a can-do guest service attitude and attention to detail.Team player who communicates effectively and follows instructions.Prior experience in facilities, event setup, general labour, warehouse, or construction environments is an asset.Familiarity with forklifts, scissor lifts, and/or rigging equipment is an asset.Enthusiastic about contributing to a high-performance team and the broader BC community. Reliable, proactive, and ready to learn in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
