RebelXM Production Manager
• Location: on-site, Mississauga shop
• Reports to: Matt Obst, Co-owner
• Employment type: full-time, salaried
Defy the Expected. Build the Best.
RebelXM isn't your average shop and we're not looking for an average Production Manager. A Production Manager at RebelXM is a fearless doer who thrives in turning audacious ideas into a show-stopping reality. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, sweat the details, demand excellence and like to have some fun along the way, you've come to the right place.
What You'll Own
• Plan + Execute: Own the full fabrication workflow from blueprint to site (including planning, scheduling, budgeting, troubleshooting) that is required to deliver exceptional activations and experiences.
• Collaborate + Communicate: Make sure everyone's in the know, in sync and aligned every step of the way both in the shop and between the shop and account and project manager team.
• Quality + Safety: Maintain top-notch quality & safety standards. Nothing ships or goes live unless it's RebelXM- level flawless.
• Solve + Evolve: Tackle problems in real time, streamline processes, and hunt for cost-saving opportunities. When site, materials, or timelines go sideways, you're in the mix to keep things on track.
• Streamline + Scale: Manage the shop and drive the production team to hit ambitious KPIs and grow capacity without missing a beat. Optimize workflows to refine fabrication, storage, transport, install & dismantle to save time, cost, and headaches and most importantly defy expectations.
What You Bring
• 5+ years leading a custom fabrication shop or equivalent production environment (think both leading the work and rallying a group of people to do show stopping work).
• Deep experience in event/exhibit and experiential production or related trades (cabinetry, millwork, metalwork).
• Mastery of timelines, budgets, and people (Microsoft Office savvy is an asset).
• Cool under pressure. There are no perfect conditions, but you make things work anyway.
• Strong technical awareness. You understand what's required to build something as much as how to manage the people building it.
• A Natural communicator. You coordinate across teams, suppliers, onsite crews without missing a beat.
• Mindset of craftsmanship + precision + defying the expected. You don't accept "good enough" .
Why RebelXM
• Work where creativity meets engineering and big ideas become unforgettable experiences.
• Join a fearless, collaborative crew that loves to deliver show-stopping experiences and have fun doing it.
• You'll have autonomy to push boundaries. Your voice and decisions matter.
• Competitive salary and the opportunity to see your work live, in full-scale events, installations, and displays that people remember.
Ready to defy expectations? Send us your story and show us how you lead a shop that turn ideas into extraordinary experiences.
