Overview J Basra Trucklines Inc is currently seeking experienced and reliable AZ Drivers for cross-border runs between Canada and the United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting freight across various routes while maintaining compliance with company policies and transportation regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Operate company tractors and trailers to transport goods between Canada and the USA.
  • Perform vehicle inspections (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip) as per MTO and DOT regulations.
  • Ensure all shipping documents and border paperwork are complete and accurate.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Comply with Hours of Service (HOS) regulations and company safety policies.
  • Report any mechanical issues, delays, or incidents to dispatch immediately.
  • Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of assigned equipment.

Experience

  • Valid AZ Driver's License
  • Minimum 2 year of verifiable AZ driving experience (cross-border preferred).
  • Clean Driver's Abstract, CVOR, and Criminal Record Search.
  • Knowledge of Canadian and U.S. DOT regulations.
  • Ability to use ELD (Electronic Logging Device) systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
