Our growing client in the Etobicoke area is currently hiring an Accountant for an IN OFFICE opportunity.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Accountant will be a key member of the finance team and will be responsible for managing the month end close for various companies, which includes preparing journal entries, management fee calculations, monthly balance sheet reconciliations, income statement analysis, assisting with the year-end audit working papers and year-end partnership/corporate tax return review, and assisting with the preparation of consolidated financial reporting.

Requirements

  • College or University degree in accounting or finance
  • 1-3+ years' work experience, preferably in Property Management field
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Strong organizational, analytical and time management skills.
  • Detail oriented, self-motivated and resourceful, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proactive and self-directed with demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to prioritize, multi-task and able to work in a changing environment
  • Able to deal with confidential information and demonstrate reliability and dependability
