Experienced Cook

Lake on the Mountain Resort is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and passionate line cook to join our amazing team for this coming season.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare food, chop vegetables, butcher meat, prepare sauces, etc.
- Ensure careful preparation of dishes as per our recipes.
- Assist other cooks during the food assembly process.
- Follow standards and recipes developed.
- Properly monitor product freshness and food standards.
- Support daily food production for retail food products.
- Collaborate with local food distributors and farmers to source fresh ingredients.
- Create innovative menu items using seasonal produce from our on-site gardens.
- Work in the gardens as needed, including harvesting ingredients for daily specials.
- Assist Head Chef with inventory of food and other supplies.
- Comply with and enforce hygiene and food safety standards.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and order.
Skills:
- Excellent cook who enjoys cooking simply with the best ingredients available.
- Strong communicator.
- Capable of multi-tasking while maintaining a high attention to detail.
- Comfortable and confident working in a fast paced, high volume environment.
- Flexible to the needs of the business.
- Able to work in a team environment preparing delicious meals.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
