Lake on the Mountain Resort is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and passionate line cook to join our amazing team for this coming season.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare food, chop vegetables, butcher meat, prepare sauces, etc.
  • Ensure careful preparation of dishes as per our recipes.
  • Assist other cooks during the food assembly process.
  • Follow standards and recipes developed.
  • Properly monitor product freshness and food standards.
  • Support daily food production for retail food products.
  • Collaborate with local food distributors and farmers to source fresh ingredients.
  • Create innovative menu items using seasonal produce from our on-site gardens.
  • Work in the gardens as needed, including harvesting ingredients for daily specials.
  • Assist Head Chef with inventory of food and other supplies.
  • Comply with and enforce hygiene and food safety standards.
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and order.

  • Excellent cook who enjoys cooking simply with the best ingredients available.
  • Strong communicator.
  • Capable of multi-tasking while maintaining a high attention to detail.
  • Comfortable and confident working in a fast paced, high volume environment.
  • Flexible to the needs of the business.
  • Able to work in a team environment preparing delicious meals.

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
