Toronto, Ontario, Canada Marvell Technology Full time $60,000 - $90,000 per year

About Marvell

Marvell's semiconductor solutions are the essential building blocks of the data infrastructure that connects our world. Across enterprise, cloud and AI, automotive, and carrier architectures, our innovative technology is enabling new possibilities.

At Marvell, you can affect the arc of individual lives, lift the trajectory of entire industries, and fuel the transformative potential of tomorrow. For those looking to make their mark on purposeful and enduring innovation, above and beyond fleeting trends, Marvell is a place to thrive, learn, and lead.

Your Team, Your Impact

Marvell's PEY (Professional Experience Year) Recruiting Program provides students with the opportunity to gain hands-on professional experience at a leading global semiconductor company. As part of this program, interns join Marvell's Central Engineering AMS-IP team, which develops cutting-edge SerDes PHY and Analog Mixed-Signal IP solutions that support Marvell's diverse product portfolio. Digital IC Design Interns contribute directly to the front-end RTL design of SerDes IP, taking ownership of block- and chip-level RTL development, CDC and LINT checks, power analysis, and functional testing and debugging. Through this experience, interns collaborate with seasoned engineers, tackle real-world design challenges, and play an active role in advancing Marvell's innovative technologies.

What You Can Expect

  • Verify digital circuits in high-speed data communication ICs via simulation.
  • Develop verification plans and simulation environments.
  • Create and execute test cases using UVM.
  • Improve verification methodology and flow.
  • Collaborate across Analog, DSP, Digital Design, FW, and AE teams.
  • Provide support to product teams pre- and post-silicon.

What We're Looking For

  • Enrolled in an undergraduate engineering program (Electrical, Computer, or related).
  • Strong understanding of digital logic design and verification principles.
  • Familiarity with RTL languages (e.g., Verilog/SystemVerilog).
  • Experience with simulation tools and methodologies (e.g., UVM).
  • Knowledge of timing analysis tools and techniques.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant coursework in digital design, verification, or VLSI.

Additional Compensation and Benefit Elements

With competitive compensation and great benefits, you will enjoy our workstyle within an environment of shared collaboration, transparency, and inclusivity. We're dedicated to giving our people the tools and resources they need to succeed in doing work that matters, and to grow and develop with us.
