Job Description

The Project Manager I will support delivery of large global initiatives and contribute to successful and efficient implementation.

Job Accountabilities

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The role provides support to the Project Delivery Manager.

  • Monitor and perform administration for projects, and coordinate management reporting.
  • Ensure that project/program information is current and accurate, including project reporting dashboards using project tools such as JIRA, and Confluence.
  • Ensure compliance with Change Delivery project management methodologies, processes, and artifacts.
  • Prepare project dashboards for various Executive project meetings and committees.
  • Provide support in project financials, including monthly review of project charges, variance analysis, updating forecasts, reporting at project/program level.
  • Utilize JIRA and Confluence to develop and maintain RAID logs, track timelines and project documentation.
  • Prepare documents for various recurring meetings including minutes, action items, etc.

  • Exercise discretion in managing correspondence and information, escalating issues where appropriate.

  • Support core delivery team members with communication to: Program Delivery Leadership team, impacted stakeholders and Control Partners.

Qualifications / Skills / Experience:

  • Experience with project management tools, such as, Confluence and JIRA.
  • MS Excel and PowerPoint knowledge to create and maintain documents.
  • Knowledge and experience in maintaining a central repository of project plans, reports, competencies, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • 2-5 years experience in a change delivery role.
  • Experience with Agile delivery methodology is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
  • Flexible and able to quickly adapt to unfamiliar, ambiguous, or changing conditions.
  • Ability to work on multiple concurrent tasks.

Specific Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • PMI or PMP certification preferred.
  • Scrum Master Certified preferred.
