We are hiring an experienced Site Super to manage a 6-storey 140 unit+ wood-frame apartment building in Inglewood.
Job Qualifications:
- Coordinate with the consultant team to ensure drawings, specifications and contract documents are prepared in an accurate and timely fashion;
- Ensure required project documents are created, approved and filed according to company policies and procedures;
- Track all project budgets, costs to complete variance analysis and provide monthly updates to Management as required;
- Review and monitor all change order costs, maintain current change order logs;Assist with preparation, review and formal award of tenders;
- Develop strong working relationships with all disciplines within the organization;
- Keep up-to-date on industry trends, changes, new developments, and all issues related to LEED and other environmental standards;
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets in a timely manner for potential leasing deals;
- Liaising with municipal authorities and utility providers;
- Site visits, site supervision of projects, and preparation of updates for management;
- Attend construction and site meetings for assigned projects as required;
- Review the project plans and specifications and comment on the building design, scheduling, possible cost savings measures and potential construction problems;
- Assist in preparation and maintenance of project budget and schedule;
- Raise and discuss relevant issues and work with the project team to find appropriate solutions;
- Evaluate proposed development designs including review with other internal stakeholders;
- Any other items as needed for the job.
