We are looking for a fabulous dog groomer with some experience to join our team at our North Surrey dog daycare location. We have a small high end grooming salon designed to house 1 groomer only (you will have the area more or less all to yourself) with some existing clientele. Hours will vary depending on bookings and will generally increase as we have a consistent groomer in and clients slowly build. We do have existing clientele to support a part time position, but are rapidly growing and can potentially fill up to create a full time position in the future. Hours are fairly flexible and our team, dog daycare, and the dogs themselves all provide a very friendly and calm atmosphere.

We are ideally looking for someone who would like to be considered an independent contractor on a percentage of earnings based pay, but will negotiate for the right person. We provide the tub, utilities, rent, laundry and shampoos etc. as well as one forced air dryer and one hand dryer. The groomer would be required to bring all their "smaller tools". The groomer could also bring their own grooming table if preferred or we can supply one. We have a receptionist on staff part time that will be taking all bookings and handling payments as well as helping out with dogs coming in and out of the shop so the groomer can focus on the dogs being groomed one-on-one as much as possible. We are looking for someone with a reasonable amount of grooming experience that is able to work independently and accurately quote prices based on individual dogs, as well as stick to their projected time estimates while grooming.
