Farm Sitter

Assist with small animal care including light housekeeping and lifting as it pertains to small animals. Assist with large animal care including feeding/watering/turn-out. Must be able to lift 40 pound bales of hay. Must have ten years experience with small and large animals as well as experience with a stallion. No riding. Hours are variable. Job is back-up for farmer and farm-hand.

Responsibilities - feeding, watering, cleaning, medicating if needed, general care and security of animals, maintenance and security of property, buildings and equipment. In-depth training and instructions provided. also care of cats including cleaning litter boxes and other relater cat chores

Note: No live in OR temporary vacation live-in.

Skills required - farm experience; substantial experience with large and small animals; some experience working with farm and garden equipment; must be capable of heavy lifting, mature work ethic, honest, proven reliability, able to safely work alone and on a team.
