Overview

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Laborer to join our team. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to various construction, maintenance, or industrial projects. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, eager to learn, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment. This role is essential in supporting the successful completion of projects through hands-on assistance and operational support.

Duties

  • Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment on-site
  • Perform general labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and moving supplies
  • Operate basic tools and machinery under supervision
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
  • Support skilled tradespeople with their tasks as needed
  • Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear at all times
  • Assist in setting up work zones and preparing sites for construction or maintenance activities

Requirements

  • Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions carefully
  • Prior experience in construction, landscaping, or industrial settings is a plus but not required
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various tasks
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass any required background checks or drug screenings

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 5 months

Pay: $24.50-$30.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
