Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced
Applications Project Manager
to lead and deliver complex software development projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application delivery (not infrastructure), with proven expertise in managing large-scale, multimillion-dollar IT initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project management for software/application development initiatives.
  • Oversee project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage project financials for initiatives valued at
    $5M+
    , including forecasting and reporting.
  • Collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholder groups across business, technology, and executive levels.
  • Drive execution using
    Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid
    methodologies as appropriate.
  • Oversee
    change management
    ,
    release management
    , and
    executive reporting
    activities.
  • Ensure quality and compliance with enterprise PMO standards and governance processes.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation plans to ensure timely and successful delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years
    of experience managing IT
    software development
    projects.
  • Proven track record managing
    large-scale projects ($5M+)
    including financial accountability.
  • Strong knowledge of
    project management methodologies
    (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
  • Demonstrated experience in
    stakeholder management
    across technical and business functions.
  • Expertise in
    executive-level reporting
    ,
    change management
    , and
    release planning
    .
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Telecom industry experience
    is considered a strong asset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP or equivalent project management certification.
  • Experience with enterprise application portfolios in large organizations.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC processes and modern software delivery practices.
