The Opportunity

We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented
Development Coordinator
to join our growing team. Reporting to the Development Manager, you will support the full life cycle of our multifamily rental projects, from initial concept to completed communities.

This is an
in-person role
based in our Calgary office, with flexibility offered when needed. Occasional travel to project sites is required. This role is ideal for someone with at least
two years of experience in real estate development
(or a related/transferable field) who is eager to expand their skills and take on more responsibility. You'll gain hands-on experience in every aspect of development, working closely with senior team members and external partners.

What You'll Do

  • Drive Project Progress
    :
  • Support the Development Manager through all stages of the development process.
  • Coordinate with consultants, architects, engineers, and internal teams to keep projects on track.
  • Manage contracts, RFPs, schedules, and budgets, ensuring all documentation is organized and up to date.

  • Navigate Approvals & Entitlements
    :

  • Assist with rezoning, development permits, and building permit applications.
  • Build relationships with municipal staff and stay ahead of policies and bylaws impacting projects.

  • Support Financials & Operations
    :

  • Help prepare and monitor budgets, pro-formats, and project invoices.
  • Provide administrative support including meeting coordination, progress billing, and reporting.
  • Contribute to marketing and leasing efforts for new project launches.

  • Post-Construction Coordination
    :

  • Oversee warranty claims and follow up on post-construction work to ensure quality delivery.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience
    in real estate development or a related/transferable field (e.g., construction, consulting, urban planning, project coordination) where you've managed projects and worked with multiple stakeholders.
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in
    Microsoft Office
    (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with
    Yardi
    is considered a strong asset.
  • Familiarity with the development cycle, including permitting, design, and construction, is highly valued.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and eagerness to grow with the team.
