What you'll be doing
As a member of the Auto Finance team, you'll work in a fast-paced environment to support leadership in the planning, coordination, and development of key initiatives for the Auto Finance business. The Senior Product Manager, Business Effectiveness, builds strategy presentations, supports financial planning efforts, and supports long term transformation of the business. This can include conducting research or briefings on a variety of topics, coordinating or crafting communications, organizing and preparing for key meetings and/or business events, and leading or supporting key enterprise initiatives.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.
How you'll succeed
Business development - Develop high level business cases, data analysis, roadmaps and conceptual solutions that will enable Auto Finance to mobilize strategic programs that will deliver on the stated strategy.
Relationship management - Liaise with functional groups across CIBC when developing business or financial analysis, preparing budgets and escalating any governance related matters etc.
Lead and support Business Continuity management & training
Prioritization – Schedule your own deadlines for work and establish key priorities based on the changing needs of the business. Be resourceful.
Strategic presentations - Support the facilitation of internal business communications and corporate events including leadership sessions, employee engagement activities, townhalls, and executive meetings in support of the head of the business unit. Develop PowerPoint presentations utilizing data for storytelling to convey key messages.
Market research - Conduct ongoing research, evaluate and suggest recommendations based on comprehensive analysis including data analytics; evaluate alternatives presented with their associated benefits and risks.
