Job Title: User Experience Researcher & UX/UI Designer

Location: Kelowna

Job Description

We are seeking a talented User Experience Researcher & UX/UI Designer to lead user research initiatives and design intuitive digital experiences. This role will focus on understanding user needs and translating insights into user-centered design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and field studies to gather insights.
  • Translate research into actionable design recommendations for web/mobile platforms.
  • Create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity design outputs.
  • Collaborate with product owners, developers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Design clear, accessible, and inclusive user interfaces aligned with WCAG standards.

Required Knowledge & Skills

  • Experience with Human-Centered Design, Design Thinking, Universal Design, Lean UX, Agile UX.
  • Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods (A/B testing, analytics, heuristics).
  • Experience with research tools such as UserTesting, Optimal Workshop.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD for prototyping and UI design.
  • Strong knowledge of information architecture, accessibility (WCAG), and inclusive design.
