Clinical assistant Full Time position

Munroe Medical is seeking a motivated Clinical Assistant to join our healthcare team . As a Clinical Assistant, you will work closely with medical professionals to provide exceptional patient care, support clinical operations, and assist in a variety of administrative tasks.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Completion of a recognized Physician Assistant program.
  • Registered as a Clinical Assistant with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba.
  • Demonstrates a high level of accuracy.
  • Must be able to Muti-task and function in a high paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as team members.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience using an Accuro EMR.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding service to patients and families.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Conduct patient assessments, take medical histories, and perform physical exams.
  • Diagnose and treat common medical conditions, illnesses, and injuries.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians.
  • Provide patient education on health management.
  • Assist Physicians perform minor procedures as needed (e.g., suturing, wound care or minor procedure).
  • Maintain standard practice recordings of all patient encounters, utilizing electronic medical records where available.

Schedule

  • 8 hour shift
  • Saturday - Wednesday
  • Must be available on holidays when needed.

Expected start date: As soon as possible.
