Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts and clamp trucks to efficiently manage inventory, facilitate order picking, and support overall warehouse operations. This role requires mechanical knowledge, familiarity with warehouse management systems, and the ability to perform heavy lifting. The Forklift Operator plays a vital role in maintaining a smooth and organized distribution process within our facility.

Duties

  • Safely operate forklift, clamp truck, and order picker equipment to move, load, and unload materials throughout the warehouse
  • Must be able to drive Reach Forklift
  • Assist with order picking and inventory management using warehouse management systems
  • Perform heavy lifting tasks to handle goods and supplies efficiently
  • Ensure accurate order fulfillment by selecting products according to order specifications
  • Conduct routine safety checks on equipment and report any malfunctions or hazards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures related to warehouse distribution

Requirements

  • Proven experience operating forklifts, clamp trucks, and order pickers in a warehouse setting
  • Mechanical knowledge related to forklift operation and maintenance
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic math skills for inventory counts and measurements
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail during order picking and inventory handling
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and maneuver for extended periods
  • Valid certification or licensing for forklift operation preferred but not mandatory; training provided if necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
