Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that provide actionable insights to drive decision-making across the organization. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in various Microsoft applications, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Duties

  • Develop and implement business intelligence solutions using various tools and technologies.
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations that effectively communicate findings.
  • Manage databases and ensure data integrity through regular maintenance and updates.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and best practices.
  • Assist in project management tasks including planning, execution, and monitoring of BI initiatives.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) for documentation and presentations.
  • Maintain records management practices to ensure compliance with organizational policies.

Experience

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, SharePoint, and Project.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual proficiency in French is a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in project management.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to negotiate effectively.
  • Organizational skills with a keen attention to detail for filing and records management tasks.
  • Time management capabilities to prioritize multiple projects effectively.
  • Administrative experience within a business intelligence or data analytics environment is preferred.
