Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Programmer located in Mississauga, ON. The CNC Programmer will be responsible for creating and optimizing CNC programs to manufacture precision components. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting technical drawings, operating CNC machinery, performing milling and machining operations, and troubleshooting programming or machine-related issues. The role involves ensuring high-quality output while maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and safety standards in the production process.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in CNC Programming and Programming techniques to develop and modify machine instructions.
  • Strong knowledge of Technical Drawing interpretation and application in production environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Machining and Milling operations to produce precision components.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to adhering to safety and quality standards.
  • Academic background or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or relevant fields is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and experience with CNC machine tools is an asset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and maintain a highly organized workflow in a fast-paced, on-site production environment.
