Programming and Development

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in programming and analysis.

    Fujitsu NetCOBOL V4 or higher

Mainframe Databases, APIs, and Batch Processing

  • Extensive experience with
    IMS DB V12 or higher
    (HALDB and DEDB) using
    PLITDLI API
    .
  • Experience with
    DB2 for z/OS V11
    or higher
    .
  • Experience using
    Endevor
    for source control and developing checkpoint/restartable
    IMS BMPs
    .

Mainframe Tools

  • Experience with
    z/OS V2.2 or higher
    .
  • Expertise in file and database management tools (
    File Aid V10.1+
    ,
    IBM File Manager V13.1+
    ).
  • Proficiency with
    IBM Debug Tool
    ,
    Abend Aid
    , and
    IBM Fault Analyzer
    .
  • Experience using
    IBM DFSORT
    for data processing.

Client/Server Architecture

  • Minimum 5 years of experience developing
    mainframe PL/I transactions
    that process XML input/output.
  • Experience designing and developing
    Windows client applications
    that interact with
    IMS TM
    systems.

Screen Handling

  • Experience with
    Mainframe Screen Handling (MFS)

  • Experience using
    SCREENIO
    for Windows workstation interfaces.

Windows Workstation Tools (10%)

  • Proficiency with
    Visual Studio 2008 or higher
