Responsibilities

• Lead the full project management lifecycle, from requirements gathering and scope management to project planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Develop comprehensive project plans utilizing tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello, or Smartsheet to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.
• Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders through presentation skills and meeting facilitation, ensuring clarity of objectives and expectations.
• Manage project budgets, perform cost control analyses, and utilize earned value management techniques to monitor financial health.
• Apply various project management methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), and Lean Six Sigma to optimize processes and adapt to changing needs.
• Conduct risk management activities by identifying potential issues early through root cause analysis and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Oversee program development and design, aligning multiple projects within the broader portfolio while managing dependencies and priorities.
• Lead process mapping, business process modeling, and continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen to enhance operational efficiency.
• Supervise project teams by providing leadership, guidance on conflict management, team management practices, and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Coordinate vendor relationships and manage contracts to ensure deliverables meet quality standards and organizational requirements.
• Utilize PPM (Project Portfolio Management) tools like Primavera P6 or VersionOne for tracking progress and reporting on key performance indicators.
• Implement quality management practices to uphold high standards in project deliverables while maintaining compliance with organizational policies.
• Support change management initiatives by facilitating stakeholder engagement and communication strategies during transitions or process changes.

Skills

• Proven experience in supervising teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced environment.
• Expertise in Agile methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe alongside traditional Waterfall approaches; familiarity with Lean principles is a plus.
• Strong program development skills with the ability to design scalable solutions that align with strategic goals.
• Proficiency in project management software including Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Trello, Primavera P6, or equivalent tools.
• Advanced knowledge of requirements gathering, requirements analysis, scope management, risk assessment, and change control processes.
• Skilled in data analysis techniques for collecting insights that inform decision-making; experience with SAS or similar analytics tools is advantageous.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for process mapping, business process modeling, and process management practices like Kaizen or Lean Six Sigma.
• Effective negotiation skills for vendor management and stakeholder engagement; adept at conflict resolution and meeting facilitation.
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure projects as well as enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems like SAP or Oracle is desirable.
• Strong technical writing abilities for creating comprehensive documentation including project reports, proposals, and process descriptions.

Pay: $59,453.30-$128,625.20 per year
