Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and personable individual to join our team as a . This role involves providing exceptional guest services in a fast-paced food service environment, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are maintained, and supporting daily restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in food handling, customer service, and restaurant operations, with a strong focus on hospitality and upselling. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, cashiering, and guest engagement while contributing to a positive dining experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
  • Provide friendly and efficient guest services, ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Handle food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Manage cashiering duties, including cash handling and basic math calculations for transactions
  • Assist with food presentation and serving to guests in a timely manner
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including kitchen and dining spaces
  • Support upselling efforts by recommending menu items and specials to enhance guest experience
  • Manage time effectively to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy periods
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
  • Follow all health regulations and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred
  • Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude
  • Ability to handle food safely and maintain sanitation standards
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Experience in food handling, food preparation, or kitchen operations is desirable
  • Knowledge of the food industry, hospitality practices, and guest services principles preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends or evenings if required
