Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service, ensuring that all deliveries are completed on time and in excellent condition.

Duties

  • Operate various types of vehicles, including trucks and forklifts, to transport freight and materials.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
  • Perform routine maintenance on vehicles as needed, including basic automotive repair tasks.
  • Operate heavy equipment as required for loading or unloading freight.

Qualifications

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is preferred.
  • Experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record.
  • Familiarity with forklift operation and heavy equipment is a plus.
  • Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations.
  • Basic automotive repair skills are advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for interaction with team members and customers.
