Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Student or a Junior Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various accounting functions, including bookkeeping, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. This role is perfect for individuals looking to grow their accounting skills and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment. If you have experience in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero will be essential for success in this position.

Duties

  • Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks to ensure accurate financial records
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
  • Perform account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations
  • Support payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and propose solutions
  • Assist in budgeting processes and financial reporting
  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation
  • Collaborate with senior accountants on various projects as needed

Requirements

  • Has Accounting, Finance, or related field experience (Will accept Students)
  • Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices
  • Experience with payroll processing is a plus
  • Proficient in bookkeeping and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Ability to perform account reconciliation and analysis effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
