Howard Carter Lease Ltd. is looking for a full-time Commercial Lease Representative with minimum 5 years' experience in commercial vehicle leasing (or similarly relevant leasing/finance role) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring and managing commercial leasing clients, developing proposals, negotiating terms, and ensuring strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, prospect, and secure commercial business clients for vehicle and fleet leasing.
  • Develop leasing and financing proposals tailored to clients' needs (fleet size, usage, and cost considerations).
  • Negotiate lease terms and contractual details with clients, internal stakeholders, and financing partners.
  • Manage client accounts throughout the full leasing lifecycle: proposal → agreement → delivery → account servicing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (vehicle acquisition, maintenance/repair, parts, and service) to ensure a seamless end-to-end client experience.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, leasing and finance products, vehicle lifecycle costs, and fleet-management best practices.
  • Achieve individual and team-based sales and lease targets.
  • Provide exceptional client service and build strong, long-term relationships.

Qualifications & Competencies:

Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial leasing or sales, ideally involving vehicle fleets or transportation equipment.

  • Strong knowledge of lease and finance structures, residuals, contract terms, and fleet usage metrics.
  • Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to develop and present leasing proposals in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Strong business acumen; client-focused and results-driven.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, client-service-oriented environment in Burnaby/Metro Vancouver.
  • Valid BC driver's licence; comfortable with occasional fleet site visits and client meetings.
  • Multilingual skills are an asset, reflecting our culturally diverse workforce.
