Job Overview
Reporting to the Manager, Financial Reporting, as the
Accountant, Financial Reporting
you will be responsible for providing accounting and finance services to the business unit. You also ensure financial statements and other related documents are accurately prepared in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
This is an approx. 18 month term position, ideally November 2025 – May 2027
Your Day-to-day Responsibilities Will Include
- Preparing quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements for entity level, lower and upper echelon and creating monthly financial operating profit and loss matrix in an accurate and timely manner.
- Preparing monthly land profit elimination reports.
- Liaising with external auditors to resolve financial audit problems, minimize significant differences and avoid qualified opinions or emphasis of matters.
- Preparing annual financial packages for institutions, investors and internal managers, including external audit opinions, notes and reports.
- Liaising with all branch accounting staff and external entities to ensure receipt of appropriate, complete, accurate and timely information.

Essential Requirements
- Diploma in Accounting, or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably with working knowledge of Accounting Standards for Private Enterprise (ASPE).
- Satisfactory verification of criminal record check.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Word, Access, Teams, SharePoint and PowerPoint) and accounting software (NewStar or similar).

Working Conditions
You primarily work in an office setting during regular business hours. Overtime may occasionally be required.
