Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Snow Plow Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for clearing snow and ice from roads, parking lots, and other designated areas during winter weather conditions. This role requires a strong understanding of landscape maintenance and mechanical knowledge to operate snow removal equipment effectively.

Duties

• Operate snow plow trucks and other snow removal equipment to clear snow and ice from various surfaces.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including checks on mechanical systems, hand tools, and power tools to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize excavators for larger snow removal tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean work area and ensure all tools and equipment are stored properly after use.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in operating snow plows or similar heavy machinery is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic maintenance on equipment.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in construction and landscape maintenance.
• Ability to work long hours during winter storms and respond promptly to weather-related emergencies.

Job Type: Seasonal

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
