What is the Opportunity?
This in an exciting opportunity to be part of Finance Shared Services-Finance Application Operations team. As a Senior Support Analyst, this position is responsible for the ongoing management and administration of Finance Systems (but not limited to) EPM, TLM, PeopleSoft and Finance Datamart. You will lead the end-to-end incident management process. Partner with IT in the investigation and resolution (both short and long term) of incident. As subject matter expert (SME) you will identify new requirements and system enhancement opportunities to drive Finance System improvements and efficiencies.
What will you do?
- Responsible for the ongoing management and administration of Finance Systems (e.g. EPM, TLM, PeopleSoft, Finance DataMart) including scheduling, data validations, incident investigation and resolution, governance and knowledge management
- Lead the end-to-end incident management process. Partner with IT in the investigation and resolution (both short and long term) of incident. Create and provide post incident review (PIR) documentation to Senior Management and affected business partners.
- As subject matter expert (SME) identify new requirements and system enhancement opportunities to drive Finance System improvements and efficiencies.
- Partner with IT to establish priorities for support, maintenance, and enhancement activities.
- Lead user acceptance test plan creation and execution for maintenance and enhancement releases, Provide application signoffs for deployments to production.
- Execute governance over Finance Systems to ensure integrity of the financial records by reviewing and providing approval for IT partners High Risk activities in the production environment.
- Lead discussions on Knowledge Management to ensure an effective, efficient and continuous Finance system support model
- Co-ordinate and lead all SOX and audit activities in support of Finance Systems ensuring compliance to all controls, Ensure compliance with all controls across all Finance Applications
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:
- In-depth knowledge TLM reconciliation & transaction flow in TLM.
- Previous knowledge of RBC finance systems and tools (i.e. EPM, Adjustment Capture and PeopleSoft)
- Detail oriented, analytical, can work independently and is a fast learner
- Change mindset and ability to apply a process improvement lens to all BAU activities
- Good communication (oral & written) and interpersonal skills
- Proven time management, planning, organizational and problem-solving skills
Nice-to-have:
- Strong technical proficiency in Excel (Pivot tables, VB lookups)
- Experience with writing process documentation
