Pioneer Truck Lines is a respected leader in the transportation industry, specializing in heavy haul logistics. We're currently seeking an experienced Dispatcher to join our dedicated operations team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a deep understanding of heavy haul trucking, we want to hear from you.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, plan, and schedule routes and tasks for trucks, trailers, and drivers
  • Manage fleet resources based on availability, schedules, and equipment maintenance
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule timely servicing of equipment
  • Ensure compliance with all driver regulations and company policies
  • Review and verify driver documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Communicate effectively with drivers and customers to ensure smooth operations and satisfaction
  • Solve problems quickly and efficiently as they arise during daily operations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in trucking dispatch, including heavy haul knowledge
  • Proficient with computers and dispatch software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Assets (Preferred but Not Required):

  • Knowledge of border crossing procedures
  • Experience with permitting for oversize/overweight loads
